The Jane Mitchell Memorial Pastel Prize will not be held in 2009 but will next be exhibited in July 2010.
KIKU ARTs has decided to hold one arts competition per annum, rotating between the Art Overboard Awards and the Jane Mitchell Memorial Pastel Prize.
Art Overboard will be held in each year ending with an odd number eg 2009 and the Jane Mitchell Memorial Pastel Prize will be held in each year ending with an even number eg 2010. Both competitions will be held in July.
The February KIKU ARTs exhibition each year will still be opened with live music and food in an open air environment to thank the patrons of KIKU ARTs and celebrate the lovely atmosphere of Bungendore NSW.
February 2010 will celebrate the wonderful artistic life of Bernie Coppinger (deceased February 2009) with a retrospective of his work from commencing painting in 2002 to his final works of 2008.
